The long haul truck driver operates and drives straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. They load and unload goods, obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, and oversee the condition of the vehicle. The driver also performs pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversees all aspects of the vehicle.
